week 2

well, we are 2 weeks into student teaching!

the days are just packed and they fly by!! it feels as thought there will never be quite enough time to cover all the material or make sure that everyone "gets" what is being taught.

another of my major concerns involves developing a classroom management style that feels "right" i do not want to be a yeller or a screecher. also don't want to be a push-over type of teacher who allows anything to happen. i want enough control that the students know what is being explored but i want them to have enough autonomy to be able to explore, challenge and ask questions. tricky, tricky, tricky. hope practicing during this student teaching time helps me to find the balance that i'm looking for.
