teachers, take your marks. get set. GO!!!

here we are gearing up for a shiny, brand new school year!!  


next week most school staff members will arrive at their respective schools and begin getting ready for their students to arrive on their first day.  but in reality, most have been thinking, learning and planning for the beginning of the school year.  


in the mean time, do you wonder what students are doing in preparation for the first day?  


i wouldn't be surprised if the at least some of them are doing their own prep.  here's one source of instruction that students might find useful.  it's from Vi Hart, a self-described recreational mathemusician
