how do you spell academic achievement?

here's another piece of information that seems to indicate that american students are being under-educated when compared to other countries.

if we want to continue to be seen as a leader in the world, we need to take a critical look at practices that we currently view as adequate.  obviously we have missed something in the past "few" years.
